Chinese Zodiac Signs Difference to Western Zodiac Signs

Many people have been looking into their horoscope to find some guide about their future. These guides are also applicable to their love life, their career, and in knowing their selves better. There have been a lot of positive feed backs about the accuracy of horoscope in telling one’s future and the events that are about to take place in their lives.

However, there are still a lot of questions people ask regarding horoscope, one of which are the differences between the Chinese and the Western astrology. What are the differences between these two and what is their significance in a person’s life?

There are a number of astrologers who use the Western astrology in providing advice about love compatibility. Love compatibility in the Western astrology is determined by analyzing the compatibility of the horoscope signs. This is done by comparing the signs of the couple involved. The said compatibility depends on whether both horoscope signs belong to the same element which is the fire, the air, the water, and the earth.

Western astrology also uses the sun and moon signs in predicting the couple’s compatibility. These moon and sun signs are found in astrology books and this differs year to year. The moon and sun signs will be compared, then both moon signs, then both sun signs. After which, there will be a cross over and the sun and moon signs will be compared then the other way around. There should be at least two matches in the four comparisons that are done before it can be concluded that the couple is compatible.

The Chinese Zodiac signs, on the other hand, have a different way of horoscope reading. Chinese horoscope state that a person’s destiny is determined through the position of the major planets during the person’s birth. The positions of the sun, the moon, and the comets, along with the time of the person’s birth are also considered. It should also be noted that the Chinese astrology is based only on a 12 year cycle and each symbol corresponds to the twelve animal signs that we are now very familiar of. Each of these signs is for one year and these signs rotate according to a twelve year cycle.

Whatever type of horoscope one chooses to subscribe to, they both deliver glimpses of what is in store for us in our future. They are also helpful tools in giving guides about important matter in our lives. Most often, people who are into getting married find themselves consulting their horoscopes first before making that big leap. Undeniable, horoscopes, be it Western or Chinese, have been with us to play certain roles which are significant to each one of our lives.

We are unique and as such, there are different events in our lives that are bound to happen. However, it is also true that we are connected to each other, thus the compatibility that is suggested by our horoscope. There are some who remain skeptic about horoscopes and these are something that cannot be helped. It should always be remembered at all times that horoscopes only bring prediction and these may not always come true at all times so in the end, it is still the person’s decision that will rule.
